Great South African Bakeoff Teaser
Working in collaboration with with wonderful Fred & Eric Design and Animation Studio, I "whipped up" these frosting letters for BBC Worldwide. Designed to create excitement around the Great South African Bakeoff 3rd Season launch, I created 3D food typography that describes the essential ingredients required for a perfectly dramatic and entertaining Bake Off series.

Goals
The art direction given to me was that these letters be tangibly real looking and delicious yet playful. To keep the series together, I chose the color palette shown in the backgrounds of these pieces in line with the very bright colors shown throughout the branding and the set of The Great South African Bakeoff. Another cohesive element was that all the letters be similar in form, adding to the quick readability needed for the speed of the commercial.
The end result was tastier than I even imagined, especially with the perfect animation provided by Fred & Eric.
