I have created a successful full-time creative business from scratch, working with clients like Target, Toys ‘R Us, Instagram, BBC, and more on consistently 4-5 figure projects.
I had a lot going against me when I decided to be a creative freelancer. I started in my mid-30’s, without any formal art training, dealing with clinical anxiety and depression, and beginning a medical gender transition. Every day my anxiety told me that I would never make it. The most important thing I learned was how to overcome the emotional obstacles that regularly got in my way. I was able to create a creative career from scratch, teaching myself everything I know (and getting invaluable advice and knowledge from others) from 3D typography to social media marketing.
